Health and Fitness Expert comes with a new idea:
Alternative TherapiesHerbal Medicine. Herbalists recommend applications of a poultice made from the leaves of comfrey steep ed in boiling water. This mix should be cooled and applied between gauze layers to the bruised areas. Avoid skin irritation by applying lanolin first. The active chemical agent in comfrey is allantoin, which has a healing effect on skin tissue.

However, Linda Cross thinks differently:
Cosmetic breast procedures include breast augmentation (breast enlargement), which is accomplished with breast implants. Breast lift is a procedure which is often performed simultaneously with an augmentation. Like any type of cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation is not without risks. But if you re going to be handled by an experienced plastic surgeon like Dr. Breast augmentation is usually carried out under general anaesthesia and requires a one night stay in hospital. It may be painful especially when implants are inserted under the chest muscle.

Pic 1. Large tear at the back of Teoh s pants. Pic courtesy of Dr. Rafick2.  I still have my doubts as to whether this is the actual reason for the big tear. First the tear is massive and cut across Teoh s buttock region exposing his underwear which was also slightly torn in the middle. If the pants were to be caught in the window handle, wouldn t it be most likely to be an opening or around the waist or pocket region? And even if the latch was caught in the pocket of Teoh s pants, wouldn t it just ripped the pocket apart and not cause such a huge tear?

For this reason, Linda Cross says:
The result from a breast augmentation is considered a permanent solution however it is recommended that patients consider changing the implant in the future if needed. Over time, the implants have a tendency to sag and ripple from wear and tear. For me, having a breast augmentation wasn t about getting bigger breasts but getting them back to the shape and size that was right for my figure. Having the surgery has made me feel more feminine and given me much more confidence in myself. The authors present a case of late hematoma after breast augmentation with textured gel-filled silicone prostheses, which appeared after intense physical effort 1 year after the implantation of the prosthesis. The hematoma was drained in three subsequent ultrasound-guided percutaneous needle aspirations, with no need for removal of the implant.

In response, Health and Fitness Expert claims:
A bruise develops when blood escapes from damaged blood vessels into the surrounding tissues under the skin, usually as the result of a blow directly to the injured area. The exception is a black eye, which may result from a hit at the temple or forehead, as well as on the eye itself. This happens because the blood follows a gravitational path. Bruised tissues under and around the eye are likely to swell, in some cases causing the eye to shut.
Thinking that's not all, Jim Rosati adds:
Now let's look at pitching. At home, Pirates pitchers have a crazy-good 3.42 ERA. Let me add that a 3.42 ERA is absolutely remarkable and that number actually shocks me. This is also where it gets a little weird. Pirates pitchers walk, on average 3.15 batters per 9 IP at PNC Park. Now, on the road, the pitchers walk, on average, 4.06 batters per 9 IP. How do you walk about one batter more per game on the road? It's the same strike zone. Everything's the same. Oh, and back to that ERA, the Pirates' away ERA is 5.20, almost 2 runs more per game than at home. I just don't get it. At home, batters hit .245 against our pitchers. On the road, they hit .286...oh, and they slug a whole .101 points higher.

Both boys were recently diagnosed with a rare progeriod syndrome called Mandibulacral Dysplasia. It is progressive and results in a shortened life span. There are only five other known cases, 2 living 3 deceased. Symptoms include skeletal dysplasia, joint contractures, lack of subcutaneous fat and sclerodermoid skin changes. These conditions have resulted in developmental delays, dysmorphic facial features and small stature. Nathan has weighed 23 pounds for the last year and is comparable to an 18 month old in terms of gross motor skill and size. Cognitively neither child is impaired. This is so discouraging because they are supposed to last more than a week at a time. The last one started to go after 3 days and is still a large lump in his thigh, now he's getting another large lump by this new one and I'm wondering where they will even find a spot to put a new one. I'm so sad! I hope it doesn't mean a trip into the hospital to look into it/ put in a new one tomorrow but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. The hematoma's are uncomfortable and he also has one in his arm still from last week. I don't understand clotting and don't get why he is getting clots when he is on anti-clotting medication. Maybe because there is increased internal bleeding at those sites because of the thin blood. This is a whole new thing for us! We just want everything to be over and for J.J. to be all better!

For this reason, Health and Fitness Expert says:
Although the skin over a bruise remains unbroken, it quickly becomes discolored, turning reddish initially, then black and blue or purple, and finally yellow or pale green, as damaged blood cells die and are reabsorbed into the blood stream.

For this reason, Health and Fitness Expert says:
Although the skin over a bruise remains unbroken, it quickly becomes discolored, turning reddish initially, then black and blue or purple, and finally yellow or pale green, as damaged blood cells die and are reabsorbed into the blood stream.

Tess scans the other's answers and reply:
Hematoma is a blood-filled blister which causes the ear to swell and become inflamed. It is caused by a bite by another animal or by self-scratching. Surgery is required to remove the blister, or your dog may wind up with a cauliflower ear.
Despite the previous arguments, admin has many reasons to think otherwise:
Sinus- Localized, certain positions are worse, steady throb, worse in the morning. Subarachnoid Hemorrhage- abrupt onset, constant stiff neck, feels like someone hit you in the head, Caused by high blood pressure, stress or aneurysm. Life threatening.

Tess does a quick recap:
You might see your dog paw at his head like a fighter in the ring. He will certainly scratch. If you look closer you may find pus in the ear, a lot of wax, or a deposit of what looks like dried blood. There may be swelling . The ear may be read with inflammation . There may be a strong, sour smell.

The extent of a bruise is self-limiting, because nearby undam aged vessels contract and restrict any further blood flow to that area. Meanwhile, blood platelets collect and activate the clotting mechanism that closes off the break. Unless more serious injuries are present, most bruises will heal themselves in a week to 10 days.
In other words, mehdi puts it this way:
Leeches shown during treatment of varied conditions Hirudin also helps reduce the blood s thickness, thereby promoting optimum blood flow and preventing the risks associated with sluggish blood flow.
Tess brings more details:
The ear mite is rightly named. It seems to crave the dark caverns of the ear for its habitat. It can drive a dog half crazy scratching at the ear as if he wants to rip it away. If he will, you can ease his pain temporarily with half an aspirin and a little mineral or baby oil applied on a cotton swab. If your dog seems to have lost his sense of balance, it means, of course, that the infection has reached the middle ear.

Having that in mind, Health and Fitness Expert wonders:
Self-TreatmentAlthough bruises will heal themselves, prompt self-treatment can sometimes reduce their size and tenderness. During the first 24 hours following the injury, frequent application of an ice pack or cold water compress to the bruised area slows down the bleeding and reduces swelling and pain. After ice treatment, healing through the reabsorbtion of blood cells is promoted by the use of warm compresses or the application of a heating pad.
In response, Health and Fitness Expert claims:
The bruise of a black eye calls for somewhat different self-treatment. To reduce swelling, apply an ice pack or cold compress as soon as possible after being injured; follow with warm wet compresses the next day. There is no value to the folk remedy of applying raw steak to the bruise. Any benefit comes from the coolness of the meat and a compress is more convenient.
Phyllis gives a bit of an idea about it:
Nathan fell straight backwards off of a stool today and hit the back of his head on the kitchen floor. I am so worried he is going to get another hematoma. He seemed fine after he got done crying. Honestly, just when I think he is more stable he goes and falls so quickly and suddenly. I am a nervous wreck during his waking hours. Sometimes I am so relieved when he goes down for a nap because it means I don't have to watch his near misses. Today he and Libby had the couch cushions off and were building a fort, nothing too crazy but I was so nervous that he was going to fall and hit his head on the table in the living room. If Libby fell and cut herself requiring stitches or broke a bone, we would take her to the ER, get her fixed up and go on our way, chalking it up to one of the childhood rites of passage. But with Nathan everything is more serious. Sometimes I long for him to have the physical abilities that other kids his age have so he could play freely.
For example, admin considers:
Subdural Hematoma- caused by trauma. It is a slow bleed in the brain. Natasha Richardson died from something like this.
admin considers that:

Andrew also takes into account the following fact:

While it may be true, Tess thinks:
You might see your dog paw at his head like a fighter in the ring. He will certainly scratch. If you look closer you may find pus in the ear, a lot of wax, or a deposit of what looks like dried blood. There may be swelling . The ear may be read with inflammation . There may be a strong, sour smell.

Hirudotherapy, popularly known as leech therapy has also been referred to by other names such as bleeding, leeching, and bloodletting, but basically, it refers to the use of leeches for medical treatment and is one of the methods our ancestors used to cure various ailments
D says it all comes down to this:
Dirt and Lace 2 days ago The Perch 3 days ago Brits blog 4 days ago

Rathachai Kaewlai, MD thinks that the problem is:

But Rathachai Kaewlai, MD has a different opinion:
Posted by Rathachai Kaewlai, M.D. An above image panel shows an intracerebral hemorrhage (blue arrows) in the right frontal lobe on an unenhanced image; a spot sign (yellow arrow) on a CTA source image; puddling of contrast extravasation (red arrowheads and yellow arrow) on an enhanced image. Unenhanced follow-up CT 6 hours later shows hematoma expansion (blue arrows). The patient underwent hematoma evacuation. Also noted on these images is subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Jim Rosati gives a bit of an idea about it:
Freddy Sanchez. It also seems like Freddy's 2010 $8.1 million option is a huge barrier in any deal.
Rathachai Kaewlai, MD also takes into account the following fact:

In addition to this, mehdi states:
Those at risk of developing glaucoma include diabetics, people over the age of 40, and people with a family history of the disease. If detected and treated in its early stages, glaucoma can be controlled and vision can be saved.
Despite the previous arguments, Jim Rosati has many reasons to think otherwise:

mehdi might have an idea about it:
It usually occurs after a large amount of pressure or force has been applied to the area and something that is definitely common among boxers. This is shown by a bluish green discoloration around the eyes, more popularly known as the black eye. Disappearance of pooled blood in this area is particularly slow and can take from several days to a few weeks. Not only is it unsightly, but can cause light-headedness and headaches.
Still not being convinced, Jim Rosati replies:

mehdi comes with a new idea:
Leeches shown during treatment of varied conditions Periorbital hematoma is hematoma around the eyes - a sac of blood that the body creates to keep internal bleeding to a minimum. In most cases the sac of blood eventually dissolves, however, in some cases they may continue to grow or show no change. If the sac of blood does not disappear, then it may need to be surgically removed.
